“We were so fortunate to have Joyce and Randy be the photographers at our October wedding at Spring Ranch in Mendocino. We had interviewed several photographers, but their portfolio had an elegance and eye for detail that caught our attention from the start. The Spring Ranch setting is magical, with a beautiful eucalyptus grove and outdoor fireplace which served as our ceremony site, a Victorian farmhouse with lovely period details, and a rustic elegant 1860’s barn that is a wonderful setting for a dinner and reception. Across the street is a state park with gorgeous vistas of land and ocean. Joyce and Randy are very familiar with the setting and captured the cathedral-like feeling of the grove, the lovely panorama of the fields and the romantic details of the house and barn. Because we had already had the engagement shoot, from which we have some fantastic photos, we were already comfortable with them and with being photographed, which allowed us to be more relaxed for the wedding. Their photojournalistic style captured many wonderful moments, and they managed to be everywhere, but unnoticed.
