“We were first drawn to Joyce and Randy’s work because we noticed how beautifully their photos captured the light. When we met to discuss our vision for our wedding photos, “a mix of formal, but mostly photo-journalistic photos that captured color, life and light artistically, but authentically”, we realized it was a tall request, but Joyce and Randy came through beautifully, and did so without being intrusive. We are so happy with the photos of our Carneros Inn wedding. Joyce and Randy’s photo booth was an especially big hit. It allowed us to get both formal and funny pics of everyone. Surrounded by the rolling hills and horse pastures of Carneros Valley is the beautiful, Carneros Inn, where Angela and Rahul celebrated their nuptials. Elements of the bride’s Creole and the groom’s Indian cultures flowed through the day. The black and white dance photo of the bride and groom in joyous rapture was awarded by The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA).
The engagement photos were taken at Fort Point, at the end of Crissy Field, under the Golden Gate Bridge, a venue that provides many different “looks” and simple brick canvases.
